Northeast State Community College hosts Spring Graduation Kickoff on March 28 | Northeast State Community College

Upcoming Spring graduates from Northeast State Community College can pick up their caps and gowns at the Spring Graduation Kickoff event happening Tuesday, March 28 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Blountville campus.

Northeast State’s Office of Admissions and Records hosts Grad Kickoff for students to get graduation caps, gowns, and other regalia for Spring term graduation. The event takes places in the atrium area of the main entrance between the General Studies and Pierce buildings.

There is NO CHARGE to Northeast State graduates for their caps and gowns. Northeast State will host the Spring graduation ceremonies Tuesday, May 9 in the amphitheater on the Blountville campus beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Students participating in graduation must wear regalia. It is advised to remove the gown out of the plastic bag and hang it up or lightly iron the garment before wearing it.

Diplomas are NOT distributed at the commencement ceremony. Diplomas will be available for pick up in the Admissions and Records office approximately 4-6 weeks following the graduation semester. Graduates receive an email notification with the specific dates when diplomas are available. The spring commencement program will be available in digital PDF form prior to the ceremony. Hard copies will be available on the day of the ceremony.

Graduation details can be found at: https://www.northeaststate.edu//Graduation-and-Beyond/Graduation-Ceremony/. To learn more, contact the Office of Admissions and Records at admissions@northeaststate.edu.
